The Chick-Fil-A at Falls Village in Raleigh, North Carolina is doing great things to help provide adoption aid grants! This location recently hosted an “Adoption Awareness Night,” sponsored by Squeak Me Shoes. The Chick-Fil-A kid cow and Mr. Wuf, the North Carolina State University mascot, were on hand to provide entertainment for the kids, while Mimi the clown arrived to paint faces. Parents were given the opportunity to bid on silent auction items that included a Chick-Fil-A tailgating package, family museum memberships and other prizes. There was even a fire truck and a horse-drawn carriage outside for families to enjoy!
Chick-Fil-A at Falls Village graciously donated 10% of their dinner proceeds from this exciting night as well as the auction funds to Show Hope, North Carolina Children’s Home Society, and Carolina Adoptions Services. We are so thankful for initiatives like these that are helping set orphans into forever families! With Orphan Sunday approaching, we encourage you to contact your local Chick-Fil-A about replicating this great fundraiser or find other ways to get involved today!
