This week we are spotlighting a sweet boy that you may have already seen if you’ve been paying attention closely! Julian is a little guy who was in the “MBHOH race” video with his best friend Dwayne, who we told you about earlier this month.
Like Dwayne, Julian was diagnosed with Down Syndrome along with his other illnesses. After fighting off both pneumonia and a bad case of chicken pox, Julian has proved to be a very healthy, happy boy. He loves to have his picture taken and is very intuitive and curious. This joyful boy knows just what to do at the nanny’s urging to “blow a kiss” or “clap your hands,” but is particularly happy to hear them say “time to eat!”
Julian’s persistence in learning how to walk is adorable! He hasn’t quite gotten the hang of it yet, but when he falls he excitedly gets back up and tries again. May we all be so persistent today, as our sponsors help to alleviate the plight of orphans like Julian.
