When Roger first came under the loving care of Show Hope, he suffered from long seizures and appeared very uncomfortable due to stiffness related to his cerebral palsy. As a direct result of the excellent care he receives, Roger’s every day comfort level has significantly increased. His seizures are now few and far between, which is a great blessing for this little boy and his caregivers at Maria’s Big House of Hope. Roger is always smiling and full of life, and his nannies frequently comment on how happy and vibrant he is. He never grows tired of being tickled, and will laugh for hours if you tickle him.
He recently began physical therapy with one our nurses, Erma. In each session, they spend around 30 minutes working on his flexibility with the hopes that he will learn to sit up on his own. Though this process is uncomfortable, Roger calmly endures the stretching that will strengthen his muscles and allow him more movement. It is through the contributions of Show Hope sponsors that Roger receives this important therapy and medical attention. Please pray for his health and strength as he continues to develop.
