“We would like to begin by thanking Show Hope sponsors for their wonderful generosity. Show Hope is so amazing and I cannot express how happy I am that there is an organization like this one that shows God’s love so enormously.
“From the time we were married, my husband Jesse and I knew we wanted several kids and were open to adoption. About nine months after the birth of our daughter Reese, Jesse told me he had been thinking about adoption. We prayed about it, and after a few months we were ready to move forward with the adoption.
“When we started the international adoption process in the spring, we encountered a few hiccups that caused our process to be delayed by at least three months. Instead of worrying about these delays, we chose to trust God’s perfect timing. It wasn’t until November that we got our referral. The picture of a handsome three-year-old boy from Russia melted our hearts. We knew right away that he was our son, Taylor Wade Wilson. If we hadn’t been delayed for those three months, Taylor’s file wouldn’t have been available to us.
“We brought Taylor home just before his fourth birthday. Reese and Taylor are loving siblings and best friends. We thank God for blessing us with our son. This adoption was possible because of our God, the prayers and support from our friends and family, and the loving generosity of Show Hope sponsors.
